So Reagan and I are stuck at home for 10 day with Impetigo which is no fun, but the last couple of days when Reagan has taken her nap I have been able to catch some of her candid photo ops. Here they are..

Well I can hardly believe it but my little man is now 5 yrs old. Since he is really into super heros and gross things like bugs and poop and grossing out his mom he decided for his birthday dinner to have a disgusting dinner theme... a super hero birthday party theme will follow later this week.

So here is what he had for dinner:

Slimy Worm Spaghetti, Maggot/Baby work mac and cheese, hulk snot brocolli, dog poop rolls, bloody meat sauce, bloody eyeball juice, and last but not least was the "cake" maggot and worm poo poo platter (thank you Kids Space Museum for the lovely idea in his head) lemon pie, complete with worms and candles.

He LOVED the whole thing and the next day the first thing he said when he woke up was " I wish it was still my birthday, that day was fun" What a cute kid. It was fun making the gross stuff for him and so worth it to see his face as he ate it and thought Jake and I were sooo grossed out.

Vegas Adventure

I use the word adventure for a very good reason... Vegas and kids = adventure! First of all, what were we thinking taking our kids to Vegas. It was the 2nd time we had gone together and this time we took some friends and did a timeshare presentation. Now being owners of an excellent vacation plan ourselves I was thinking "how bad can it be, get free tickets, gas, and other freebies right?" well this time I was dead wrong. To make a long story short we had fun, got told we were getting alot of freebies which ended up not working at all and realizing that a double stroller with kids in Vegas sure brings lots of extra time and extra long double takes. Overall it was nice to get away with friends but a little note to self next time will tell me to not go on the strip at all with the kids unless we have planned on having us all wear protective porno repellant glasses and gas masks. I think we will take it easy next vacation and just use our place or go camping.

Ok.. to explain this picture.. Kaden is ALWAYS in his pj's without a shirt on so I wanted to take a picture with him and let him see the snowman so I just grabbed him and set him on his coat and click click here is the outcome!

Snow Day!

So it snowed this last December and what do you know that was the first snow we have seen where we lived since we moved to California five years ago. For those of you that go to the beach you will recognize that our "sled" is nothing more than a boogie board. So yeah.. you can say we had quite the time. El Guapo and the grabby hands (her current nickname) stayed warm and had fun. We even made a snowman. I think in all it snowed about a foot or so. The timing was perfect.. one week before Christmas.

Our Family Sea World Day

Well, Last month Jake took a day off work and we just all went to Sea World. It was alot of fun and Kaden and I LOVED spinning around and around in the Sesame Street spinning carts. Jake and Reagan opted out of this amazing experience... Maybe next time guys :)

PROP 8 and the elections

Well, I have to say that I am relieved that prop 8 passed but also sad for the people that wanted it not to pass. I try to put myself in their position and can't help but feel sad.. sad that they think we hate them, sad that they don't have some rights for their loved ones that we do, and sad that our world is so crazy. I am really happy that I shouldn't have to worry so much about my kids learning adult issues in elementary and happy that the will of the people was reinstated.

It is so crazy to see how people really are when they get worked up about an issue. I have heard the worst of people on both sides come out over this.

On Monday night I went with the kids to hold up signs and I have to admit I got emotional.. emotional that I can live in a place where I have the right to hold up a sign that is different than other people and not be punished for it.. proud that both sides have the freedom of speech, proud that I stood of what I believe, proud to be an AMERICAN!! Then Tuesday I was sad that McCain didn't win.. loved his speech, and proud that our country is finally at a place where the color of skin doesn't matter and hope that it only gets better. I loved what McCain said " Barrack Obama is MY President" and so he will be mine too. No matter what we think politcally, it is in the best interest of the country to come together, especially at a time like this.God Bless America

Well, I just never get alot of time to get on here but I wanted to post a couple more pictures. Here we are Laughing it up.. who knows why exactly we are laughing .. maybe it is because Reagan just farted really loud.. or maybe it was Kaden. We have alot of that go on here. LOL
The other day Kaden told me I could pee with him standing up at the toilet.. when I tried to explain that girls don't do that he thought that meant that my penis got cut off.. I couldn't help but laugh and then explain calmly that girls don't have those.. and then laugh some more. KIDS!!

Reagan McKell Walters

Ok, So I need to go back in time I know but I just thought I would post a cute picture of 3 month old Reagan we took last Thursday. Jake, Kaden, Reagan, and I all decided to go for a swim at a local swim park and do a little picture taking while we were there. We sure love spending time together, especially when it involves relaxing! We are really loving having both a girl and a boy and appreciate what a great sleeper Reagan is at night. She has been Wonderful!!

Getting this blog started

So here it is, my first official post!! I'm so proud of myself for getting this started. I know, it seem that it isn't that hard but when you have had a week like mine (and it's only Tuesday) you would be proud too. So after looking at all of the other great blogs that all of our friends and family had I had to do one for myself. It is true that I actually started it in May and here it is almost September but I have a great excuse.... CUTE LITTLE REAGAN MCKELL has been taking alot of my time. I'll blog about her later but for now I'm just happy to have gotten this far. YEAH! And so it ends.
